Of all the animals and people living on farm, Luci Woolson is one of the only animals who had not achieved world fame before coming to live on the farm. But Luci is well respected and even held as a hero in the eyes of all the farm's inhabitants.

Luci is a wonderful mother, friend and care taker to all, she holds it in the highest priority to make sure everyone is well and healthy and this is why she is the nurse in the farms infirmary.

Luci starts her day waking up earlier than everyone else on the farm, making sure we all have a good, healthy breakfast before going on our daily routines. After breakfast is done

Luci attends to her duties in the infirmary, making sure everyone takes their medications on time, nursing someone who got the flu back to health, carefully putting bandages on the wounds of someone who fell or cut themselves accidentally during work. In the afternoon, when the kids are back from school, Luci sits with them, helping with their home work, answering questions about their daily studies and assuring they have some treats before running off to play. In the evening, after all the kids have gone to sleep and the sick and injured are well attended to, Luci likes to sit with Sandra and the rest of the farm gang by the fire place and knit sweaters, socks and wool blankets so that all the farm inhabitants be warm during the cold winter nights.

Although Luci's part is not one of glamour or world fame, we all just do not know what we would do without her care and devotion. Everyone at the farm loves Luci very much and her son, the young Lamb is Shirlee's favorite of all.
