Eto Much “Senior-es E Senoritas, Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, Please welcome with loud applause – the heavy weight racing champion of the world, the real Italian Stallion – Emillio Galipoli!!!”

That is what racing fans used to hear over the loud speaker systems in racing arenas world wide for seven years in a row. But Emillio's story does not start as a happy one. A small child, smaller and skinnier than all young horses his age, the young animals and people in Emillio's home town of Milan used to pick on the small Emilio at every opportunity they could get. From a young age, Emillio had to rely on his legs to run away from bigger and stronger characters chasing him and had developed an amazing speed of running. The only one in the world who stood by him and helped whenever he could was his older brother Luigi Galipoli, who got in trouble many times as their father Sergio galipoli, a tough horse who raised the two on his own after their mother had died at a young age, demanded Emillio learned how to protect himself on his own.

As the two brothers grew up, and Emillio developed his running abilities, Emillio had started to take his running to a professional place and joined the Italian olympic team, winning many gold medals and bringing his country much honor. Needless to say, by them, no one picked on Emillio and he became a local hero. Throughout his entire career, Luigi had been next to his brother and served as his trainer and manager and together they have brought many awards and medals back home to Italy.

After seven years of racing and winning a lot of medals, Emillio had retired to a small farm near his home town of Milano where the two brothers trained and managed many young horses into winning many races world wide. A few years ago, during a visit to Emillio's farm “Punti rapidi” (Quick Steps in English), Miro had invited Emillio and Luigi to visit “the happy friends farm”. A visit which resulted in a great friendship between Miro and Emillio and Emillio's decision to move into the farm and start a resort and school for young running athletes at the farm, many world famous athletes come to learn, train and improve their achievements on the farm. Emillio stays in tight contact with his brother Luigi, who still runs the Italian farm and now, they own branches of “Punti rapidi” in 23 countries in all five continents – America, Europe, Africa, asia and Australia and are very proud of the newest branch they had recently opened in the middle east, a branch where athletes from all over the middle east come to train and compete in a peaceful environment. Emillio's best friend, other than his brother, remains Miro Barnz and together they share the daily rutines of managing “the happy friends farm”.

Emilio's biggest dream yet to achieve, as he puts it, is to start a family so, if you know a nice lady horse, he would love to meet her but, as he says it, “she has to be very fast, because I am hard to keep up with” although, we at the farm all believe, if he falls in love with the right lady horse, for her – he will slow down a little.
